I abandoned this one back in 2010, but am attempting it again on audio.

WELP.
I said I wouldn't read it, but I had it... so I read it.

Am I surprised that I didn't really like it?
No... but I only have myself to blame, I knew it wasn't for me... but I went in anyway

This is the only book I've ever read that made me angry that I wasted my time reading it. I haven't been able to read anymore of his books after this, in my opinion, epic failure.

After reading Wicked, I was apprehensive about reading this since I despised the first book.
Thank goodness this is much better.
Though Liir is somewhat of a twit and always moaning poor pitiful me, the story moved along quite well. As some of the other revues state, there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered.
The ending of this book is a little disappointing. I feel like Maguire couldn't come up with anything else and just abruptly ended.
