I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The author did such a good job of keeping me confused about who was actually going to be Addy in the end and who Lu would end up with.
Lu was such a fun character and I loved watching her change and gain her confidence. St. Addington was of course dashing and charming and I loved him. I wish we could have had more of his development.
I also felt like the end was a little rushed and I would have liked more time spent on the resolution and then figuring things out.
But it was all way good!

This is the first I’ve read of the author and as I tend to say, this won’t be the last. I really enjoyed this book, the author made me laugh and it was a book I struggled to put down. Straight away I knew which time period I was reading. There were terms I had not heard before but the author made me understand their meaning without issue. I loved that I was guessing and changing my mind throughout the book as to who was the writer of the letters. As well as changing my mind to who I wanted that person to be. I really hope there are more in the Merry Spinsters, Charming Rogues series to enjoy.
