Short novella in the vein of historical romance (I see a Beverly Johnson influence? Thumbs up!) featuring a former slave woman and an Native American solider who find themselves back to each other after their initial meeting in which Shiloh, our heroine escapes with her siblings with the help of Nashoba. I love reading about people of color falling in love set in times from the pages of history books. I like the main characters very much especially our heroine. This offering suffers from being too short and not having all the characters fleshed out but I love the attention to detail and I feel the author really did her research.
