This non fiction book about the "angel of death" that read like a suspense thriller. A very scary story but well written.

This is a very carefully researched and well told story of an aimless, but very deadly nurse. Particularly fascinating was the difficulty of making a case, especially because of the aggressive coverup efforts at every affected medical facility.

As an RN myself, I found this book truly terrifying - and not just because an RN murdered possibly hundreds of people when he had an obligation and duty to care for them. The gross negligence displayed by the hospitals and health systems where he worked is almost more chilling than the crimes themselves.

A very well written medical murder mystery. It's shocking how he operated in plain sight, but also brings to light how people dismiss their gut instinct that something is just wrong. A really fascinating read.

Glad I audioed since it sounds like the text was hard to follow.  Mainly got my healthcare hackles up.  Despicable. Did get a chortle every time he said "the" Cerner. Maybe it was referred to differently in early EHR days.
