Still looking for that KGI/Callaghan's calibre action romance series, and this did come close!

Engaging story, interesting characters—slightly less smut than I'm used to, but I enjoyed it nonetheless ;)

Onto the next!

Dani & Jake are great characters and it was fun watching them deal with all the twists thrown at them throughout the story. Looking forward to reading more by this author!

it was good, nothing that stood out. it had enough action that it kept me engaged.

overall okay, I am not sure if I am going to read more of the series though,...

Good story, interesting characters

This is an interesting premise for a series and a good start...pulls you info you'll want to keep reading.

Some of the minor characters don't make sense...need a bit more fleshing out as the reader fells like they've missed a chapter or something. There is a rush at the end and it almost feels like the author got to her designated word count and then just wrapped it all up quickly.

I kind of feel like I was left dangling. Perhaps there is more info on these characters in the filled w books in the series but it feels unfinished to me. Hence the four stars.

This book was good...just awfully violent. Of course, that only makes sense if you're dealing with organized crime. But most romantic suspense somehow manages to sidestep the violence, so I was expecting something a little lighter than what this book delivered.
