Celery DEFINITELY needs a redemption arc. I enjoyed this one, Garlic was a lil less whiny and it was nice to see Count make an appearance (especially in bat form lol)
A very cute story!

In this sequel Garlic faces her anxiety and new challenges such as the fact that she's now turning into a human thanks to witch Agnes garden magic. Not only is she not ready but she also doesn't know if she actually wants to be a human or not. Along with her fear of turning human she must now venture out of her village to visit the magic market for Agnes has run out of a few ingredients and one in particular is very important in helping create a vegetarian blood substitute for the Count.

I love Garlics relationship with Agnes, Carrot and the Count who is gay and I just love that for him.

Another quick cozy read! This one is more about being brave and taking the steps to grow. I do think the Witch Agnes seems a bit more overworked/stressed in this one, I think the purpose was to also show it's ok to depend on others.
