I love this book so god damn much, it's my second favourite book that's ever been written, when I first read it, I gave it 4* and then since November last year, I've read it about 20 times and oh my god I love this book with every single part of my heart, body and soul.
Oliver is by far and away my favourite character. I relate to him in so many ways from his eating disorder to his difficult relationship with his parents even to the way he thinks they can do no wrong and then Luc opens his eyes bc that was me and Jess. I just love him so god damn much, he deserves the absolute world. Hes so pushed aside even though hes struggling so much and god it breaks my heart!!! Hes so sweet and caring and just bless him.
Of course, I also absolutely adore Luc!! Again, Luc deserves the absolute world and hes been delt so much shit up until this point that he doesnt deserve. He loves and cares about his friends sm even though he struggles to say it and the way he grows and develops in the book is incredible I just also love him sm.
As well as Luc and Oliver I adore the side characters, Luc's work friends and his friendship group in general and Oliver's friend group just makes me laugh so god damn much my favourite chapters are when they're at the dinner party.
Also fake dating along with enemies to lovers is the best trope ever invented and god it gives me all of the feels.
I love this book so much and I cant wait to read it another 20 times.

I loved them. I loved how Luc slowly started to fall in love and slowly that became apparent in his disruption of Oliver. It felt like a true slow burn friends to lovers. It wasn’t rushed, it was real. Raw.

CAWPILE Breakdown:
Characters: 7
Atmosphere: 5
Writing: 9
Plot: 5
Intrigue: 5
Logic: 7
Enjoyment: 8

Pros:
- Adorable characters: I loved Luc and Oliver they were such well fleshed out characters who had amazing personalities. And that isn't to mention the rest of the cast, especially Luc's band of friends, they added so much to the story and it made it so enjoyable
- Banter: Luc and Oliver are the kings of banter and there were lots of instances where I was laughing out loud at both their antics and how unbelievably ridiculous they were

Cons:
- Pacing: This book struggled in the middle in terms of pacing. I really struggled because I felt like we were at a standstill and the story was not progressing.
- Ending: I was really disappointed in the ending, it seemed very unfinished. I know there is a second book coming but I think this one would have benefited from one final chapter to do a better job of wrapping everything up.

That was really cute! I liked the humor and ongoing inside jokes. Oliver is precious and deserves the best; Luc needs to act his age.
