Melanie Harlow continues on as the reigning queen of small town romances. This book delivered. Xander and Kelly are so likeable as individuals and together. Xander is protective and kind. Kelly is down to earth despite her celebrity status. I love how the forced proximity brought them together and got them to open up with each other in ways they hadn’t with anyone else. I also loved the scenes with Austin, Veronica, and the kids. This book is perfect for fans of celebrity x bodyguard romances, forced proximity, and small town vibes. I would absolutely recommend giving this one a read. I can’t wait for book 3!
Moderate: Toxic relationship, Violence, Death of parent, and Abandonment
Minor: Pregnancy
