I love this book for having Mickey as a prosecutor alongside his ex-wife Maggie. It’s fascinating to see how Mickey fares being a prosecutor and the challenges he faces in this position.
But the final 4th of the book I consider to be weak, pacing wise. I also felt the ending to be a bit too open ended for my liking, but honestly a lot of the Michael Connelly books I’ve read end up like that, so can’t say I’m surprised.
It’s a solid entry in the Lincoln Lawyer series and was worth the reread. The audiobook reading is fantastic as well, major props to the narrator.
