This doesn't reflect on the quality of the book. It's a truly fascinating book. I just felt very aloof to the who situation. But definitely a worthwhile read.

I liked this one better than 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. I didn't know most of what's in this book, so it only added to Maya's rich history and character.
