In Call Her Mine, the first book in her new Harmony Pointe series, Melissa Foster delivers a sexy and delightful friends to lovers romance with the added bonus of a surprise baby. Although there are some moments that will break your heart, this is a book that is low on drama and loaded with fun, love and romance. The love between Ben and Aurelia is honest and true and their interactions with the baby will melt your heart.

For those who have read Foster’s Sugar Lake novels, you will enjoy getting to see the Daltons again and you are sure to fall in love with them if you haven’t yet read the books. Foster has created a cast of real and dynamic characters who will make you laugh out loud. Ben’s sisters are great and I love that Aurelia was so close with them.

If you’re a fan of Bella Andre’s Sullivan family series, you will not want to miss this book. I can’t wait for the next book in this new series and I will definitely be reading the books in the Sugar Lake series.

This was an amazing and heartfelt book that I highly recommend reading.

I received an ARC through the publisher and NetGalley.

Call Her Mine is the first in Melissa Fosters new Harmony Pointe series. Which I think may be a spin off from another series as the characters seemed very established and some were even familiar to me. Although I could be mistaken as I don't read a lot of Melissa Foster stories.

However, this story which follows a familiar trope being best friends to lovers, with the added shock baby (although not quite in the way most would imagine) Flowed comfortably, was well paced and pleasing to read. Not to mention sweet, and with charming and engaging characters, I was easily absorbed throughout.

Yet, I must say I didn't really feel the romance and as the story developed it became more about them as a couple learning how to care for a surprise baby than anything else. Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing it just wasn't what I was anticipating or hoping for at the outset. But to be fair, Ben and Aurelia certainly grew as a couple and as individuals, and they did keep me entertained. So I will be looking out for book two when it's released. And I would recommend this story to others.

Aawww!! This was such a feel good book! A lighthearted story between two people who was meant to be together but always had such bad timing.
Ben and Aurelia.

Damn, Ben is a total book boyfriend!! I’m calling dibs on him in my fictional world!

This was my first book by Foster. I really enjoyed the storyline. Even though the best friends to lovers troupe can all start to feel the same, this book didn’t. Bea is truly a blessing in this story. I wouldn’t mind reading the rest of this series.

This was a nice sugary sweet read, for the most part.
Our two main characters are childhood besties, both secretly in love with each other, but too scared of ruining their awesome friendship. I'm just baffled how neither of them realizes the other one has feelings when they apparently freaking cuddle all the time. I mean they wake up groping each others bits for crap's sake lol.
But I digress.
Our female mc, Aurelia, is trying to get some distance from her hunky best friend so she can move on with her life when she stumbles across a very unexpected package left on his doorstep. Hunky best friend Ben needs her help dealing with the very unexpected circumstances he finds himself in, so they band together to figure things out.
I really enjoyed Ben and Aurelia's relationship, my only gripe with the book was that the situation with Caroline seemed to be wrapped up a little too suddenly there at the end.
Overall, the book was sweet, if a little lacking in complexity, but was a nice fun read full of feel-good moments.

Cute. It is cute. Call Her Mine is absolutely cute. But not hit all the right spot with me. I am not a fan of secret baby either.

I tried to like Miss Foster writing style. I really am trying. But it seems I hit the roof with this book. The banter is cute and sweet though.

That was fun. Best friends turned lovers, but one best friend finds out they have a child, when the baby girl is left on his door step and navigating fatherhood and a new relationship unfolds in this book. Part of me wishes we got to know the grandma and the baby’s mom a bit more but it was clever and fun.

Quick read and would read again.

I started reading this a few days ago, after winning a kindle ebook edition from a Good Reads Giveaway & it’s super hard to put down. I was not expecting a lot of the twist and turns that have happened so far, but am loving the excitement and romance I’ve seen so far and I can’t wait to see what happens next between Ben, Aurelia & Bea. ❤️
