"What happens when a girl on the fringe enters the realm of New York's chic, party-hopping elite?
Soon after Bette Robinson quits her horrendous Manhattan banking job like the impulsive girl she's never been, the novelty of walking her four-pound dog around the unglamorous Murray Hill neighborhood wears as thin as the "What are you going to do with your life?" phone calls from her parents. Then Bette meets Kelly, head of Manhattan's hottest PR firm, and suddenly she has a brand-new job where the primary requirement is to see and be seen inside the VIP rooms of the city's most exclusive nightclubs. But when Bette begins appearing in a vicious new gossip column, she realizes that the line between her personal life and her professional life is...invisible" (From Amazon)

Horrible! This novel is exactly like [b:The Devil Wears Prada|5139|The Devil Wears Prada (The Devil Wears Prada, #1)|Lauren Weisberger|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1388179604s/5139.jpg|38765] with names and jobs changed. Every character is over the top cliched.

I stayed up til 3am finishing this book. I wish they'd make this into a TV show, sort of in the vein of Sex & the City. I loved the characters in this book and the situations they found themselves in. Easy to read and mostly believable. I want to be an event planner when I grow up.

This is a fair read. I felt it dragged on a bit with details that aren’t relevant to the plot. About halfway through I struggled to finish.

Not all that good. It was very Devil Wears Prada all over again. Uncool girl get a glam job, meets glam people, discovers they are all shallow and moves on with her life...

This book was horrendous. I'm honestly not sure why I even got it, considering how much I hated The Devil Wears Prada-this was just as bad as I hoped it wouldn't be. Characters are all basically just stereotypes, if they're given any real definition. Everybody is smoking-presumably because that's what the cool kids do? Ugh.

Don't read this book. You'll be dumber if you do. I felt my IQ take a hit.

Very simple book honestly. You can feel that it’s very early 2000s vibe and I just love it !! The conflict isn’t extreme so it’s very chill to read if you’re not in the mood of books where you need to do a lot of critical thinking. Overall 3 stars is very good for chick lit genre books i find it really fun !!
