Carving for Cara was a dark and spicy Halloween novella.

I loved the dual pov and getting to experience the plot from both perspectives. MMC Rhett wasn’t morally grey, he was fully unhinged. Loved the friendship between Cara & Sloan.

Need to know what happens after that ending. The only negative thing about the book was that it was so short.

I know it's a novella but I expected more, this was so disappointing. There's no actual real connection and the "spicy" scene is meh. Why include a Jacob's ladder if you're not gonna make it a main tool in the story.

Maybe as an actual novel, with more development I would've enjoyed it more. I am curious about what about what happened after the end tbh.

Honestly read Scream for us instead.
You will have much more fun.

Only the end was a bit thrilling. Otherwise not worth it unfortunately.

This was fun. I do have to say this is 128 pages and nothing spicy happened until page 90. The tension was fun though. This is a dark read so if you don’t like dark romance don’t read this. I enjoyed this, but I wish there was a little more spice and I didn’t like how it ended. The writing was good for the most part. This is a perfect Halloween read.

Short and spicy novella. Leaves off at a cliffhanger ending, and also ends rather abruptly. Reminded me of the Cat & Mouse Duet from HD Carlton. Really enjoyed! THIS IS A DARK EROTIC ROMANCE, PLEASE CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS!!

You know growing up in a town that had a lot of corn fields...I never once thought they seemed anything other than boring and creepy 🤭

We get instant obsession, stalking, touch her and die, and a lot of violence packed into a fun quick novella. Really hoping we end up getting a full length novel to explore more of our leading mans backstory because it sounds pretty interesting.

Really wish I would have recorded my hubbys facial expressions as I told him everything that happens in this book 🤣
