I found this one hard to follow and not as interesting as Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs...Maybe because this book had Hannibal as the central character? Disappointing to say the least...

This was a solid story with some beautiful writing in places. My only knock on it was that the murders themselves were rushed and compressed. While I realize that he would not be as good in the beginning as he wins up, it seems he should still be methodical, given that is hard-wired into his character.
