It reminded me of Hocus Pocus, but if the witches were good. Despite its length, this was a fast read. Highly recommend for fall especially!

I so wanted to rate this a 5-star review, but I feel first, that the youngest sister was short-changed and the end just let the story fall where it lay without really allowing the dust to settle and for her own "true" ending. Also, without a sequel to fill in gaps/answer questions/complete stories, I find that I am left with my heart still broken in spite of some reassurance at the end. As a sister of three deeply invested in the bonds between sisters, I struggled with Juniper's ending and no definitive reunion and continuation of their sisterhood. Regardless, this book was beautifully written and such a journey for the heart.

THE HOLY TRINITY

Good writing. Good characters. Good plot.

What more does a girl need?

(In all seriousness, I loved this. I will be rereading it and I will BAWL again when I do.)

I struggled to get through this audio book for some reason. I generally love witchy historical fiction so I am not sure why this one. I think it was a good story overall, but definitely not my favourite of this genre.

I loved this book and it felt like eating a delicious dessert. Rich in details, character development, women's empowerment and witchcraft, what is not to love?
