Es lo primero que leo del autor pero estoy segura de que no será lo último. Todas y cada una de las historias me han parecido escalofriantes, únicas y totalmente diferentes al terror occidental, y eso se agradece. El dibujo es minucioso, está muy cuidado y hay algunas viñetas que son una verdadera delicia. Es simplemente brillante. Necesito más de Junji Ito en mi vida.

Some of these stories will haunt me for a while. Great stuff. Especially 'tomio red turtleneck' was very powerful!

A strong 3.7!!
I don't think these short stories pack that much of a punch narratively speaking but it's more of the disturbing concepts and truly innovatively unsettling imagery that did it for me. I'll never forget the beautiful last spread at the end of the Dissection girl story or the sequences in "Wooden Spirit".
I think conceptually the idea of Blackbird was the most disturbing to me by far-self cannabalism mired by murky time. Delightful.
Can't wait to check out Shiver from Ito next.
