hmm. i didn’t enjoy this one as much as the other books in the series. it’s a lot shorter, and it’s not as compelling. for some reason i don’t find these characters as interesting as others. also it does provide a nice introduction to the characters for the next book, even though gabriel seems like a massive asshole and i haven’t been super impressed with him in the other books either.

also, again the woman in this book (mila) is treated very poorly by the other characters, even though she’s kind of a bad bitch.

these characters just didn’t interest me as many of the other main characters have, sadly.

I loved Alexander and Christian together - in bed and out - which is the reason for the 4.5 star rating. They had absolutely scorching chemistry and I loved them together. It would have been a 5 star read if there was even a chapter more at the end when it was just the two of them. Way too much time was spent with Mila.
