i didn’t think it was possible for me to like a book more than a game of thrones but here i am. completely in awe with martins writing. why did i put off this series for long???!!!! i feel like everything was more solidified in this book and i just have so many thoughts and feelings on all the characters. first off, i wanna say, i have no regrets of tyrion being one of my favorite characters. i feel like he really stood his ground in this book, and was a glue to a lot of things that happened in the book. i mean without him, god knows what ELSE horrible joffrey would’ve done and i’m glad tyrion is the only person who actually put that little boy in his place! sansa had a really good character development for this book, and i actually enjoyed her chapters compared to the last book. i think i expected more from jons chapters but i have a feeling it’s about to be a lot crazier. i honestly just don’t even know what else to say because i can’t put into words how much i loved this book. i’m so soooo excited about where this series is about to take me and i’m so ready.

“When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you're only telling the world that you fear what he might say”

“The brightest flame casts the darkest shadow”

“A woman's life is nine parts mess to one part magic, you'll learn that soon enough...and the parts that look like magic turn out to be the messiest of all”

Just as good as the first one. I'm hooked now, even though these books are violent, gory, and looooong.
