~Thanks to BookSirens for the ARC, this is my honest review~

This is the second book in the Witches of Westwood Academy series but I feel it can be read as a standalone as you see the characters from the first book but the story is built around them and does not change what you learned about them in the first book.

This book focuses on Maia and her POV. She is rich and classy, smart and beautiful but her life is not what it seems. Her family hides a dark secret, a secret that would tarnish her family name if it were ever found out.

I enjoyed this story a little more than the first in this series because there was more background behind this character's life and the reasons why she is, the way she is.

This is an interesting continuation. Of Witches of Westwood Academy. It follows Maia and her journey of coming of age. The writing and does dialogue makes this read as a YA/NA romance but it still has the heat. There is very strong character and world building in this second standalone book of the series. This is a very interesting and entertaining read.
