I loved so much about this book! The tension was top notch and I loved the two main characters. I loved the banter and humor throughout this book.
One thing I didn’t like as much was how painfully obvious it was that they were in love with each other and were the last to know about it. The third act breakup was frustrating!

And then when he confesses his love for her she tells him that he doesn’t actually love her…I don’t typically like when a person tells someone else what they are feeling.

It was such an enjoyable book and the characters were lovable especially Luka and all the side characters. They were all so loving and caring and written how I imagine small town characters would be written. The setting was just perfect and I found myself to be wishing to be at love light farms!
However I found myself wishing there was more talk about Stella’s family like her mom and dad, I found it to be very surface level and a little bit more with the whole contest? I feel like those parts were so skimmed over and just rushed. here was also some parts of towards the end where Stella was just annoying and very oblivious. While I understand that was there for conflict, it was so stupid of her and just so annoying to read Overall, however such a fun and easy read!

This was such an easy book to love. The characters are cute and the story was sweet. There was even a little bit of a mystery built in pertaining to the tree farm’s ongoing string of bad luck. And I loved how that was resolved!

The sex scenes were written so sensually. I think they were the most tastefully romantic things I’ve ever read or listened to. No vulgar descriptive words required to convey the tension, passion, romance, and sex between characters.

Cute premise, loved the setting, but the pacing was weird! The whole reason for the fake dating (the contest) didn’t happen until way later in the book, and the third act breakup lasted like two pages. A+ friends to lovers longing though.
