I picked this up at a second-hand shop for cheap; at a glance, I thought it was for a hipster's coffee table but it's actually a kids book! Even though I wish I'd encountered this about ten years ago (9 year old me was convinced I would be a product designer/architect/interior designer) it was still an entertaining, albeit brisk, read. It'll be a useful reference and starting point for more research into interesting pieces. Also, the illustrations are very colourful and memorable. I would recommend this as a gift for creative kids, aspiring young designers, or DVC (Design and Visual Communication) students.
