Short prequel centered around Grant Turner, Jackson Harper's closeted former teammate from LA Fame, and Tyson Grove, one of the team's younger equipment managers. After some light flirtation the two of them come out to each other and have a one night stand.
The story ends with a possibility of there being more between Grant and Tyson in the future but in general there wasn't much to their story.
On a somewhat random note I also didn't think the teams' names (LA Fame, Minnesota Northern Lights and San Jose Serpents) were particularly imaginative.
