A Day in the Coutnry is a really nice short story, it is entertaining and the language is simple yet nice.

Having lived in Trinidad for the past three years, it was good to read stories that spoke to life back in the 1940s. It is always great to get a glimpse into what Trinidad was like in that era.
A decent nostalgic look into life in Trinidad in the 1940s
