This was an interesting book. I felt like I was dropped in the middle of the story. I honestly got a little bit confused at the beginning. Linden was kind of a confusing character all around. And Cyril was a jerk. We find out more about his background later on and I kind of understand why he is the way he is but it was hard to fall in love with him or even see him as a love interest.

The thing I liked about this book was that it was completely original. I don't think I have ever read a paranormal story quite like this and that is rare. I also really, really loved narrators. I listened to the audiobook for this and the narrators were fantastic! Noah's voice was to die for!

I will probably get to the next book eventually because this one ended on a cliffhanger but I am not in a rush to get the next one.

5 freaking HOT stars.

Keeping my original review - just a re-read.
This book has it all mystery, suspense and it will burn you from the inside out!

Linden Hill is different but doesn't really know why. She isn't your timid shy girl oh no, she has grit and balls. I really enjoyed getting to know her. I love her profanity!

Cyril was more a mystery. I really wasn't a fan of his until near the end of the book, then he eventually grew on me. You kind of love to hate him. You will see when you read the book.

The narration on this book is by far one of my most favorites, her laugh made me laugh. And don’t even get me started on his voice. Holy moly.. And the sexy scenes I felt like a voyeur!!! I couldn't get enough of Noah & Erin, I will be on the lookout for more books narrated by them.

Just how I like my romance I tell ya, I am no stranger to paranormal that’s for sure but it’s not your normal paranormal and that was awesome it was fresh and fun to read.
I want to read the rest of this series now I can’t get enough I want no that s to timid a word NEED to know what happens.

Overton… and Michael I want to know where this is going. I kind of have a soft spot for Overton, even though he didn't want to be gentlemen he totally was and scored points in my book for that. Who says chivalry and honor are dead not I that is for dang sure.

Here is a quote or 3 I loved

“Come on you beautiful disgusting creature.” - Haha oh Cyril the flattery

“There must be love to make love” – Truth!

“It was need, Linden. I don’t want to need anything. I can make. I can destroy. Need implies something controls me and nothing controls me.” – Cyril you will understand in time.

Worth a credit worth the money it’s worth it all.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I got this book from the author free of cost, in exchange of an honest review.
Firstly I would like to thank Renea Mason, author of Symphony of Light & Winter, for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous book.
I loved the concept and the plot. Though it’s a paranormal romance novel and I have read tons of those but this book has some unique quality and a charming effect on the readers that differentiate it from the other books in the same league.
The characters are strong and made the readers feel their presence in real with their crisp and hypnotic dialogues. I personally loved Cyril though he was arrogant at first and behaved rudely and treated Linden very awfully. Linden’s character is well portrayed and the strong resolve of her made her outshone the others.
The mystery is thick and intriguing and it kept the readers hooked to the story and the passionate love between Linden and Cyril made the read an exotic one and erotic too. I liked the writing style of the author and there is a comfy feel to it which guided me into the story and helped to become a part of it.
Over all a great read and I would like to recommend it to ya all and hope that you guys will love it too. Enjoy!!!

Symphony of Light Book One.

When two of the most important men from Linden Hill's past show up after she witnessed their deaths, she is confused and angry. Cyril was her first love and Michael was her husband. Both died in her arms. Now they're back, but neither remembers their time with her. After staying with Cyril and his men, Linden finds out that Cyril and Michael are old, immortal enemies. However, when one of Michael's lieutenants offers to trade Linden or Cyril for her missing colleague, Linden knows she must protect Cyril at all costs.

If you're looking for a paranormal story with creatures that only slightly resemble classic monsters, this is the book for you!

I found this book by chance in the Romance package on audible.com and decided to give it a go.

I'd never listened/read any books by Renea Mason before and the title sounded beautiful and captured my attention. Then, add on to the fact that it's a paranormal book and I had to get it.

Listening to this audiobook was like nothing I've ever listened to before. I have never encountered two narrators who bring the book to life like Noah Michael Levine and Erin deWard do. These two amazing people actually acted out the entire book from start to finish. It read more like a script instead of a book and I loved every single minute of it. Noah Michael Levine has the best voice and I loved how he portrayed Cyril.

The characters and plot twists are beyond amazing. Ms Mason DEFINITELY knows how to write a book that you cannot put down. Linden's character is sassy and fierce and I loved reading her adventures through her discovery of the supernatural. Cyril and Overton and the rest of the cast really brought this book to the next level. Cyril is a hero who I will not forget anytime soon.

After finishing the conclusion this morning I immediately went and got the next installment. I can't wait to find out what happens next!

I don't normally gravitate to paranormal stories. I listened to the contemporary/ erotica series that Renea offers. I really enjoyed them. I LOVED this one. It made me ugly cry in the car. Very rare has a book or audiobook done that. I was in love with the characters' strength and grace. Cyril and Liden's story played out like a beautiful orchestration. I am sad the book ended on a cliff hanger and excited to know there is more at the same time.
The bonus material of Imposters' Kiss was hot. I loved a little more insight of Cyril.

I was pleasantly surprised at how exceptional this book was! The story line was amazing. It progressed as a steady rate and character development couldn't have been more perfect. Cyril and Linden had the most unusual and amazing chemistry together. I'm not giving you any spoilers so you must read this book yourself. Let me just say that it is the start of a potentially wonderful series. I laughed and I cried tears of sorrow and tears of joy. There was never a dull moment in this book. I MUST read the next installment! Thank you Renea Mason for an exceptional story that I enjoyed very much :)
