This was a labor of love, and you can tell. Rich worldbuilding, revealed to the reader piece by piece, permeates every page. The mystery of the plot is really fascinating and is full of red herrings, which might frustrate some people but to me (a busybody who always thinks she knows how the mystery is going to turn out) this was super fun. I loved the characters and the banter. I loved the friendship and the fated romance. This was just done really well and I was so fascinated by this emotional, rich, and intricate story.
