The great thing about a series is that there's parts of the interactions you get before their book...and I'm really glad for it. So much of this read with the 'secret' just felt unnecessarily contrived drama, while there was no real need for it. All-in-all I did enjoy the read, but it just wasn't as good as the others in the series.
