I liked the way mental illness was visualised and how characters reacted to it. Lots of love (and gays) everywhere.

Love love love this series. I end up reading this and watching the show at Lear once or twice a year and this book with the Paris trip is no different

I love these books so much. I like that Osman has given her characters flaws but somehow they are always supported in the best possible ways. Just absolutely heartwarming.

I watched the show before reading the comics. It seems like volume 3's like plot structure was shuffled around a lot when adapting it to the show's season 2, and I'm not gonna lie, I think the plotline of the show feels much stronger as a result. The book just kinda feels like a random sequence of events to me, while the two earlier books felt more cohesive.

The show also fleshes out the side plots and cast of characters a lot more, which is great. Here in the comic, some of the side plots feel very randomly sprinkled in.

There's also just a lot of... monologuing? Like some parts felt like the picture part of the comic was completely irrelevant because we just had giant walls of text.

However, Heartstopper volume 3 *is* still very cute and portrays young queer love in a really sweet and special way. Alice's cute and expressive art style is very nice to look at, and the characterization is really enjoyable.

IN THE COMICS TAO TOLD CHARLIE TO BORROW MAKEUP FROM THE GIRLS TO COVER THE HICKEY UP?! I feel so vindicated because that's what I'm always saying at the screen when watching that episode of the show 😭

Every time I read one of these graphic novels, I’m reminded that people can be good.  They’re so heartwarming, and this volume is no exception!  Makes me want to return to Paris.  Definitely worth reading!  5 stars

I don’t think any of the books in this series will not be a 5 star.
Nick and Charlie are my favourite people ever.
This book did really well starting to talk about more serious topics and noticing things about other people that might be worrying.
Anyways, I cried, I laughed, I swooned. This book has it all
