I had to read this book for school, so I knew virtually nothing about it. I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be a really good story. Way better than many books that I have to read for school! I would definitely recommend.

Wow. That.. was a book (:P) I mean, it was well written, of course (being written in the 1800's). But at times, i found the explanations a bit excessive. I enjoyed the concept, and Ancient Egypt really is quite interesting, but I'm not sure if I would ever read it again.

Read aloud with 7 year old as part of history. It was kind of slow moving for him, but I enjoyed most of it. I found some of the plot to be laborious.
