This is a low 3 stars.
First of all I just wanna say this is not a great review, it's more a rant about the book.

I hated Benedict from beginning to end, not one time did I feel anything positive towards that man. I hated how the author passed over the fact that Benedict quite literally sexually assaulted FMC and she was just accepting of him. Really the only real reason I continued the book was for Kieran and Ronan, both of them were my darlings, nest boys.

The story building could have been better, but hélas it wasn't that great, the fact that she was the lost siren was a pretty classic trope but like at the end, when she discovered it... That was so weird, all of a sudden she has her powers and can be the queen that she is, bref, that was a mess.
I might read the second book at some point to see if there's character development

Okay, like... Not bad! I went into this thinking it was another throw away fated mate thing and I was kinda wrong.

Seriously, a round of applause for any author that brings the 🌶️ and knows how to tell a story.

The characters are lovable and interesting. The growth of the female character was engaging to read. It felt like an accomplishment to see the differnce in choices as she grew. The second most enjoyable thing is the lead male character reacting genuinely and realistically to her choices.
I'm so over the love interests who would walk on glass for a woman who's a back stabber. This book doesn't do that. Two thumbs up.
