While I'm glad Rabbit was able to stop Lion from bullying, I wish he hadn't done it in a dishonest way - he's supposed to be the "good" character! Am I over-thinking it?

On your second read through, watch the illustrations for rabbit ears and tails.... A fun story!

Lion is a big bully, but all the other animals are too afraid of him to stop him so they put out an ad offering a reward for anyone who can stop Lion. Bear, Moose, and Tiger all come but are unsuccessful. Eventually Rabbit shows up and uses his brains (and a few tricks) to beat Lion. While I'm not necessarily a fan of tricking bullies, the story is humorous and the illustrations are fun. I think my story time kids will enjoy this one, a fun group read aloud.

Not much to write other than I enjoyed the book in the moment, but then felt "meh" about it once I read the last page.

I like that this book is anti-bullying, but I don't like that the rabbit had to resort to cheating to win.

Fun and silly :)
The only thing that I disliked was that the main characters were all MALE animals. Would love to see less "masculine default" language in children's books!

Lunch monkey? 100 bucks (mainly gazelles)? GENIUS! Yes, many children won't get the jokes, but the adults reading it to them definitely will.
