I loved the cute and quirkiness of Grounded in January so I was super excited to dive into this sequel! Right from page one I was pulled back into the story, feeling like I never left! This story is just as funny, charming and lovable as the first one!

The thing I appreciated most in this story was the topic of deciding not to have children by choice. We often read about the hardships of couples who face infertility, miscarriage, surprise baby, all the common topics revolving around children. But, I definitely think that a lot of people could relate to not wanting kids by choice, wether it be due to a medical condition, fear of children or fear of raising them, or due to awful childhoods, whatever the circumstances may be! We don't often read about the couple who go by personal choice and Savannah Hendricks wrote about this beautifully and realistically.

Overall, I'm just SO happy we got to go back to The Inn of the Woods and hear more about Kate, Ox's and Bayou's story! I absolutely adore the characters in this book and already need more - maybe one day they will be grounded yet again in... September? One can only hope!
