That was a looooot of coincidences. Like it got to a point near the end where I was just like “Really? You too?” And then there were still more “connections” after that. I did enjoy the book though. I appreciated the way the book was written. It was surprisingly easy to keep up with all of the different characters considering how many POVs there were.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s an easy read. So many twists and turns at the end, it definitely kept me guessing and I didn’t want to put it down. I want to go back and pick out all the clues that finally came together at the end! Impressive but somewhat hard to believe connections. I felt the strong emotions of the characters (rage, betrayal, etc). I plan to read more Lucy Foley!

It was definitely a slow start for me - though maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood to start. However, once the plot really began it breezed by. It was captivating and truly left shocked with the plot twists. The connections the characters have and the dynamics at play are incredible. Highly recommend for those who enjoy reading thrillers that aren’t too graphic. Also, please make sure to look over the trigger warnings as it could be highly triggering (even to people aren’t typically effected by graphic descriptions).

I loved the setting. Reminded me a bit of Knives Out.
It was a bit difficult to keep track of all the characters at first, but it was actually really nice to get to know them from the different POVs.
All in all, I loved reading this book!

This reminded me of Agatha Cristie's "And then there were none". Ive heard writting mystery today can be difficult because everything feels over done. Foley keeps the suspense and mystery in a good balance.

Not just a great whodunnit, but a story that unfolds gradually from page one up till the end. The author, Lucy Foley, does an excellent job directing the reader to consider a variety of potential killers and victims, slowly teasing out the truth in a story of both likable and very unlikable characters. The storyline is compelling and was, in my opinion, hard to put down.

Was a very interesting style of writing. The plot unfolded throughout and you realize the characters are more intertwined than expected. You don’t figure out the killer, who died, or why until the last few pages!
