THIS BOOK IS BEAUTIFUL— there’s a brilliant mix of unique plot, diverse and interesting characters, and easy readability. There’s great friendships established between characters - I really appreciate how the side characters aren’t forgotten or abandoned and appear pretty consistently throughout. The teenage characters actually sound like real teenagers which is very refreshing since it’s so rare that authors of teen fiction actually make an effort to put natural dialogue in place. A strong theme of growth and taking care of your mental health is present which I think is really important for a teen fiction. It definitely checks all the boxes for a teen romcom and I’m so glad I picked it up, it was an absolute delight:)
