I thoroughly enjoyed this book and understand why there is such a wait for it at the library. It's nostalgic, it's complicated, it's emotional, realistic and engaging. It's not all happy and it's not all sad. Hooked from the start to the end.

Slow going in the middle, I had to force myself to finish. Saying that it was wonderfully creative and I feel like I know the characters by the end. It felt like a grown up John Green novel.

The best book I've read this year. The way friendship is framed is so unique and hard to find, it was so refreshing and touching. The discussions on race, disability, sexism, etc were so compelling and real. The characters were so flawed and so lovable. Life isn't a game, we don't have a second chance at life, eat some peaches with your friends and everything will be okay even when it isn't.
