I was so excited when I started this book because the writing style was nice and the premise of the story excited me, but I was not a fan of a handful of things that happened throughout this book…
I have never been a fan of those posts about “couples that break up after the epilogue” but I did end up feeling that way about Sage and Adam as their story progressed. The pair kept going on and on about how “they could never work” to the point where I couldn’t see them actually working out once I reached the end of their book. It felt as though their issues still hadn’t been resolved, and there wasn’t a way for them to both get what they wanted whilst being together (which was unsatisfying).
I also wasn’t a big the whole “revenge” plot line / the way that it was handled? I feel like there were a lot of holes within that plot and I didn’t really understand it?

I am curious about the other Goode brothers’ stories and am excited to read their books! ♡
