Laugh out loud funny.

Only two small things struck me as weird
Spoiler I don’t know many five year olds like that lol
And 2. Seems like Wes never addressed his feelings with Bethany? Just “manned up”

I'd like to thank this book for making me excited to read after a hard day's work. I was (am) tired and on the verge on a deep reading slump but Wes and Bethany, together with the author's addictive writing style, thankfully pulled me through.

I wasn't expecting much going into this given my tendency to base my initial opinion on average ratings, but this book delivered what it needed to. There were a lot of butterflies-in-my-stomach moments that got me hooked on the romance real hard. I completely devoured their banter like candy and I lived for the moments where the MCs were all up in each other's faces.

Wes was such a dream hero and I personally think it's a crime that a sweet, sweet man like him doesn't exist in real life. Bethany was one of the most relatable heroines I have ever read; her striving for perfection in everything she does resonated with me so much I wanted to hug her and tell her she's not alone.

I only have two reasons why I didn't give this a full 5 stars. First, I did not appreciate the excessive talk of their seven-year age gap. It came to a point where I felt like the mention of it became unnecessary that it distracted me from my enjoyment of the book. Second, I would have loved to see the final resolution scene a bit more drawn out and not happen as quickly as it did.

Overall, this book is a hit for me. This book isn't my favorite in the series (and not my favorite TB book either) but it's definitely one of the better ones.

Out of this whole series this was my favorite one. I really connected with Bethany’s  struggle with anxiety and I loved the enemies to lovers romance. Overall I would read again it was heartfelt and it was warm and it was engaging. I gasped, teared up and laughed. Any Tessa Bailey book is worth a read.
