If this is only the beginning of this series, I am scared for my heart and sanity.

I loved the urban fantasy vibes of this book. The love story between Liam and Dianna is so fucking good I couldn’t get enough.

The only thing I have I say is what the actual fuck, there is absolutely no way. I refuse to believe the ending because no just no.
I refuse to believe that she is dead, there is no way he would

Was not expecting to like this as much as I did, but it is an angsty slow burn enemies to lovers...
Dianna is a fun character with hidden depths, she is a survivor who presents herself as an irredeemable demon and isn't bothered about being 'good', whereas Liam is the most powerful being in the universe who is pretty much judge, jury and executioner. Liam self-imposed his own isolation to -'avoid destroying anthing further' when really he is a God with ptsd...and Dianna wants to rile him up.

The main characters do literally trauma bond but the angst is worth it, and the dialogue had my jaw on the floor at times.

This book does include an exploitative relationship which the FMC is aware of yet stays for the safety of her sister so might be triggering for some.

I just couldn’t get into the writing. Cool idea, but I don’t think it was executed as well as it could have been. Felt like it just needed an editor.
