Love the tv series but the books are so different. Wish I would have read the books before I watched the show

Its quite the book... details are incredible and definitely worth reading more than once. Personally, I think its better than Twilight, but thats not really saying much considering that saga could have been better. But, I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to read about deadly love triangles.

God gave me the eyes to see, and this book made me wish he hadn’t.

When u are a fast reader this is all you need for a good long relaxing weekend
It is an actual shame to return to the normal human world when you are done reading it.
You actually keep wondering what happened if.......................
And you cannot read it without asking yourself if this is a real excisting story
And if you are fan of vampires and romance (kind of) and you love sarcastic comments this is the right book

The one word that kept coming to mind as I was reading this was "Shallow": Shallow characters, shallow plot, shallow contribution to the vampire mythos. It all culminated in one more: Boring.

The only vaguely interesting element was the undead sibling rivalry. Imagine (or picture, if this is your reality) having a terrible relationship with your brother/sister. Then you're both made immortal. Does the rivalry resolve over the centuries, or become more entrenched?

ed. to add: Also, what the fuck is up with immortal supermen always wanting to attend high school? WHY?
