I am circling back, since I read the Runaways return novels. I already know several of the spoilers like _____ and _____. I think the characters themselves are rather flimsy, and lacking in development. The story is more of a same thing over and over

Not bad. Definitely a step up over [b:Runaways volume 2|168403|Runaways, Vol. 2 Deluxe Hardcover|Brian K. Vaughan|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1193354019s/168403.jpg|2995993]. I found the artwork to be less annoying, and the stories were actually somewhat interesting, including with a couple amusing and touching moments. I still think the series is nowhere near the quality that it had in the beginning, but definitely readable. I'll keep going.

The capstone of "part 1". Note: the Runaways book currently being published is wonderful.

This comic series is still enjoyable, but seems to have lost its way a bit.

In Volume 6, the Runaways find out who has been leading the new Pride which has been keeping tabs on them and lose one of their members in a nasty confrontation with their enemies. While I liked the confrontation and the problems it presents for the Runaways, there was too much teen drama in this one for me. Worth reading for the changes it brings to the team but not my favorite in the series.

And can someone explain to me how exactly Ultron's "son" was capable of being hacked by some random computer geek? I have a hard time believing an AI like Ultron would make his progeny that vulnerable.allmadhere106's review against another edition

Well, this one is a punch to the gut. I loved the range here--again a strong balance between teen issues and greater issues--but we see those teen issues have larger consequences within the team. I found some segments to be a bit disjointed, but overall this wrapped a lot of things up and answered my questions from the past 2 installments. All the feelings with this one.
For: fans of superheroes/comics; readers wanting an original storyline that they can keep up with; readers wanting younger heroes to follow--they're all tweens and teens.
Possible red flags: violence and fighting; characters in peril; language; murder/death; conspiracies and secret societies; betrayal; sexual innuendo.
