I really enjoyed this book! I listened to the audio book and I just couldn't stop. It was cute and definitely one I would recommend.

I started this engrossing YA book sitting by the pool this afternoon and just finished it at bedtime. Can’t remember reading a 300-page book in one day before. 4-Stars

Originally read in July, 2018. Happy to re-read this again for
#MMD ModernMrsDarcy.com Book Club pick for May 2019 and
ModernMrsDarcy.com 2020 Summer Reading Guide

It’s been a VERY long time since I was in high-school but I think Buxbaum hits the nail right on the head. I don’t remember that time as being either a positive or negative experience — just part of my history. I kind of remember the emotional aspect but then, I didn’t have the loss of a parent to deal with at that time. That really changed the whole dynamic of the story. This is my second read and I still enjoyed it as much as the first time. I really love the epistolary format. It worked well for this book.

Reminded me of a newer version of A Cinderella Story in some ways. I liked the characters, especially Jessie. There are a decent amount of hater comments saying that they didn't like this book because it was too predictable, but realistically what YA romance novel isn't predictable? That's what I like about these books, they will end how I want them to end and it makes me happy. If you want something edgy and unpredictable read a Stephen King novel.

It was so cute. i loved it. it wasn’t too surprising as i knew who it was pretty much the whole time but the end had me a little bit scared. i really liked the ending and the way it came full circle. it was such a cute good little read.

i guessed who SN was from the beginning, i was hoping i was incorrect because i was like, 'there's no way it's this obvious' but it was..
the concept was really cool though, and even though i had guessed the main thing i was still waiting for the big reveal.
also the ending was legit just an .. end? like i was flipping for more but there wasn't, which was kind of disappointing

but overall it was just a really cute easy read :)
(besides some of the weird analogies.. "tears are like urine...")
