Green But For A Season: 2.25 stars
The Summer Palace: 4.25 stars
The Adventures of Charls, The Veretian Cloth Merchant: 5 stars!
Pet: 4.25 stars
I loved returning to the world of Akielos and Vere, Damen and Laurent, Lamen and his Prince. This bind up was worth it just for the post-Kings Rising content, especially The Summer Palace. Relaxed Laurent is a beautiful Laurent. My favorite story was definitely The Adventures of Charls, because a) I loved seeing Damen and Laurent's relationship from an outsider's eyes, and b) it legitimately had me laughing out loud, I freaking love Charls and all the little ironies. I didn't really care one bit about Ancel in the original trilogy, but his and Berenger's short story was quite intriguing, and I liked it. This sweet little bind up was well-conceived and highly enjoyable as a companion to the original trilogy, and I highly recommend it!
