This was soooo good. Slightly annoyed at myself that I waited so long to read this, but in my defense there are so many books. (I’m also burning with curiosity to see which couple is in the next book, because I spotted at least two potentials.) I enjoyed Hogan’s Southern Lights series, but this was on another level, in my opinion. We really got the devastation Judah felt about losing his dancing career while learning how to manage Meniere’s disease. I was ever so slightly skeptical during that first meeting with Morgan, but he soon proved to be just the sweetest, solidest, most upstanding fellow, and I was fully invested in their relationship. The family and small town aspects were also very well drawn. Like I said, capital Five capital Stars!
Moderate: Chronic illness, Vomit, and Medical content
