I enjoyed this book better than the first book. I love how the author uses the motif of revenge and the description of PTSD that Juniper goes through after surviving a Cult's attempt to sacrifice her to their "god." I loved that it wasn't the usual "I want to fix what's broken" trope but it's the "I love you, especially all of your broken parts." 

I love how Juniper wasn't the damsel in distress but the badass female lead that wants revenge for herself and for the death of her brother. Zane and Juniper are my favorite characters by far in this series. I can't wait to read book three.

I couldn't put 'Her Soul for Revenge' down. It was very well written for a dark romance fan. I love that we get to know several people involuntarily involved in this cult, and that we get to see their points of view. At first, I was skeptical about the overlapping timelines and events because I was afraid of repetition, but it wasn't an issue. I loved seeing the female main character's growth and her unfolding story with Zane. It was a little more grotesque than the first book but even more captivating.

I really liked it somethings I already knew would happen because of the first book but I still loved how Strong Juniper was she is such a power woman! I love her and Zane together they are the perfect broken revenge team I feel like. I just really loved the revenge part in this one and that party were she got her piercing if you know you know it was sooo good omg!!!
