You've got humor, mystery, great characters - feels like EL Konigsburg and Jerry Spinelli but told through letters and pictures.

I love it, but will my kids book club love it? We shall see...

One of my favorite books growing up! Fun way to tell a story through letters, newspaper articles, memos, and other non-traditional narrative forms.

I read this book for Battle of the Books. The story is told in letters, news clippings, telegrams, etc. I really enjoyed the format of the book. I will recommend this to my 5th graders! I was also glad to see there are more books in the series.

No better way to spend a lazy Saturday morning than with coffee and an hour reading a childhood favorite.

This book and the entire series were one of my favorite things to read as a kid. I think I must have read them at lest 5 times each. The way it is written, through letters and notes, etc., makes them really fun to read. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a light easy children's read.
