Gave John Grisham another chance.
Not all too impressed. His stories are very slow and dull in my opinion. Enough of his work for me.

I'm so sad I didn't enjoy this that much :( I just found it a bit boring.
When I first read the blurb I was SO excited! I love Fitzgerald and I love Grisham but this just didn't do it for me.

A fun and fast-paced summer thriller. The ending felt a little rushed but overall good.

john grisham romance is not hot. don't do that, sir. also, i listened to this one and the narration was weird and inconsistent with accents, i think, but maybe i just didn't notice the southern drawls during the first half? anyhoo, loved the island environment, the bookstore setting, the insight into writing and publishing, the f scott scandal. fun, non-murdery mystery.
