This is a very solid series that I plan on reading with students for years to come. It’s very entertaining, highly unpredictable, and has great character development.

Fun story! Still predicated on completely false ideas about DNA

Ultimately, I liked the first book the best, but what a fun series! I definitely would have eaten these up when I was 10, and I can't wait to read more of Korman's books. I can imagine most kids would enjoy these, but this is an especially great series for reluctant readers - lots of adventure, fast-moving, short chapters, good humor. Can't wait to push these on kids next year. :-)

A decent finish to the series, although the second two books never caught the excitement of the unraveling mystery in the first book.
