I don't know enough about the character history to properly appreciate this. Seems interesting, though. Another book I read purely because it was sitting around.

Amazing work here. They really get Doom’s voice, and have so far laid out a complex weave of story and intrigue. Continuity both old and new is deftly woven together.

Really enjoyed this. The art is great and the story is pretty interesting, with lots of twists - the ending of especially the first three issues always left me "what?? I need to know what happens next right now". There is a lot going on, though, which was confusing at times. But for the most part, a really cool series with Victor von Doom as the main character.

My first full fledged Doctor Doom story. I discovered this book purely by accident as I was using Google search and got one as a recommendation. Loved this!

Good beginning, reads like Doom stories of old. Loops in good bits of Victor's past, ties him properly back into the Marvel U as a whole. Enjoying the new details about Latveria's governmental structure and geography, also Kang as a thorn in Doom's side is something I've been reading since 1984, so that's a nice callback, too. Have already pre-ordered the 2nd volume of this.
