Interesting idea, but ultimately the story just ends where it begins, and the reader is left with no further insight to the characters of Batman or the Joker. The colouring is great, though.

Really underrated Legends of the Dark Knight arc. A bit like Batman: White Knight (although admittedly not as good). The art reminded me a lot of Kelley Jones, whom I love. Gotham is dark but playful, almost feeling like a twisted Disneyland.

This wasn't what I was expecting, but I found it really intriguing. It felt a little like an Elseworld story, but that worked well. It's always interesting to tug at the Batman/Joker connection and this brought out some new elements. I actually found myself rooting for the Joker's sane counterpart.
