Brilliant!

This is hands-down the best mafia romance I've ever read (and I've read dozens)! Finns love for Aoiffe is the kind that makes you swoon. I cannot wait to read more of this world!

DNF @ 85% - I’m just so bored!! The spice was good, but the story is convoluted and their relationship is off to me.

Finn turned into an acceptable book boyfriend. It took a while though.

Oh wow, this was so dull. Around the halfway mark I started to skim when I should have just DNFed it. It doesn’t help that it was way longer than the storyline should have gone on for and neither character was interesting. As I read this on the kindle app, I checked how much longer I had when I thought I was over halfway done, but nope I was only 30 percent of the way in. The writing was odd and sophomoric.

I initially, tried to get into this story when it first came out but had to put it on hold because it just wasn't working for me. I am not sure if it was the instant love or what but it didn't live up to my expectations after reading her MC series. However, after reading Eoghan and Aoife's book, which I DEVOURED), I had to come back and try again.

It still wasn't my favorite, but it did get better. I have never been a fan of instant-love and therein lies the problem with this story for me. However, I am glad I did finish it because it did give me a chance to see some characters that I have come to appreciate and love as well as it gives more of an understanding of what the Five Points are and what it means. It is for that reason that I am rounding it up to 4 stars.
