This book didn't stand out for me. I think there were some holes in the plot although that could be intentional as it ended on a bit of a cliff hanger. The romance felt a bit insta love for me and I thought there were only 3 guardians at the beginning, took me an embarrassing amount of time to realise there were four! I would have liked to get to know the characters a bit more. Story was set in Scotland and didn't feel too gimicky which was nice to read

This book has been on my TBR forever and I am so glad I finally got a chance to read it! It was so good! I love this world we are in and I am looking forward to knowing more about the world. Gods and Goddesses have always fascinated me so I love that our girl is half goddess with some insane magical powers. She needs help reigning her powers in and I think it’s going to be interesting seeing how she does that with her guardians.
Narration was spot on. No complaints here!

Winter Princess took me a couple chapters to warm up to. But it was a great story, with enjoyable characters and solid world building. I can’t wait to find out more about why the queen finally summoned her daughter and what’s going to happen next.
